According to records, traffic on National Highway 20 through the territory of Dai Lao and Loc Chau communes (Bao Loc city) is limited to one-way traffic because units are repairing the cross-culvert on National Highway 20 at the B'Lao Sre intersection (Dai Lao commune), located nearly 1km from Bao Loc pass.

At many times, hundreds of vehicles traveling from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City lined up waiting for about 4km from the B'Lao Sre intersection (Dai Lao commune) to the center of Loc Chau commune.
In the opposite direction, vehicles also lined up for more than 3km from the B'Lao Sre intersection down to the area of the Virgin Mary statue (in Bao Loc pass).
According to reports, the traffic congestion has been going on since early morning on June 28, and by noon of the same day, there was no sign of it cooling down. It took more than an hour for vehicles to travel through the road.
Although authorities have deployed forces to direct traffic, traffic is still very difficult due to the increase in the number of vehicles on the weekend.

It is known that the emergency repair project of the cross-culvert at the B'Lao Sre intersection on National Highway 20 is chaired by the Office of Road Management Area IV.1, Vietnam Road Administration, the construction unit is Vuong Tran Construction Trading and Service Co., Ltd. and 886 - Thanh Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company is the maintenance unit of the project. The project was started in late June 2025.
However, in the past 2 days, the construction and traffic regulation of the construction unit at this project have encountered shortcomings and limitations. The construction site has become a "bottleneck" causing the flow of traffic to be limited and traffic jams to last.
