On the afternoon of June 25, at the National Assembly House, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a thematic conference on the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation to serve the activities of the National Assembly.
In his speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated: Over the past 6 months, the National Assembly has actively deployed the digital National Assembly, applied artificial intelligence to serve the activities of the National Assembly and achieved initial results.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, institutionalizing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo , the National Assembly issued Resolution 193/2025/QH15 to pilot a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
The Law on Science, Technology and Innovation is expected to be passed by the National Assembly. This is an important premise for the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the coming time.
Emphasizing that the National Assembly must be a pioneer and take the lead in applying artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the National Assembly Chairman said that for many years, the National Assembly has used iPads to provide documents during sessions to delegates, limiting paper documents.
Based on the upgrade of the software feature providing information on smart devices (App National Assembly 1.0), at the 9th Session, the National Assembly put into use App National Assembly 2.0 and applied artificial intelligence. This is a new step of the National Assembly. The National Assembly Chairman also highly appreciated Viettel Group for actively investing in equipment and staff to put this program into operation at the Session.
The National Assembly Chairman requested that National Assembly deputies, officials, civil servants and public employees of the National Assembly agencies increase the use of technology and artificial intelligence in their activities, proactively improve techniques and change working methods in the coming time.
In the process of implementing the National Assembly's digital transformation project for the 2025-2030 period, it is necessary to proactively review, perfect, and standardize operations, ensure the application of new technologies in performing tasks, coordinate analysis, propose operational requirements, and organize the implementation of information technology applications and specialized information systems within the scope of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Chairman requested the National Assembly Office to prioritize digitizing archived paper records and documents to create a data system, accelerate the application of technology and artificial intelligence to create outstanding results, breakthroughs in scientific development, innovation and digital transformation.
This is especially important in the context of streamlining the organization and apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; from the central to provincial and communal levels, everyone must promote digital transformation and use artificial intelligence in daily work.
Referring to the “Digital Literacy for the People” movement launched by General Secretary To Lam, which is being implemented at all levels and sectors, in the spirit that every person in society, regardless of age, social status, or educational level, is responsible for learning to make up for this lack at this time. All cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the National Assembly must memorize the theory of the Digital Parliament and learn to use artificial intelligence.
With high determination and innovation, the National Assembly Chairman believes that in the coming time, the National Assembly will apply artificial intelligence AI and digital transformation, improving the efficiency of the National Assembly's operations in legislation, supreme supervision and deciding on important issues of the country.
