Quang Ninh organizes Investment Promotion Forum in Belgium

As part of the program of visiting and working in the Kingdom of Belgium, on June 6, Quang Ninh province coordinated with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Kingdom of Belgium to organize the Quang Ninh Investment - Trade - Tourism Promotion Forum in 2025. Attending the Forum were Mr. Nguyen Van Thao, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Belgium, concurrently the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the European Union; Mr. Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of enterprises in Belgium and the European Union.

With the theme “Quang Ninh - Cooperation for a green and sustainable growth future”, at the forum, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, introduced to Belgian enterprises in particular and the European Union (EU) in general the potentials, advantages, and investment attraction orientations of Quang Ninh province.

In particular, Quang Ninh province wishes and prioritizes calling for and attracting investment and is ready to create the most favorable conditions for Belgian investors in industries and fields where Belgium has outstanding competitive advantages and distinct potential, especially tourism, modern comprehensive services; processing and manufacturing industries, supporting industries, high-tech industries, and smart technology. He also wishes to cooperate in the fields of marine economy , logistics, seaports and seaport services; ecological agriculture; industry groups promoting green economy such as clean energy, renewable energy, electricity, wind power; developing digital government, digital economy, digital society, etc.
