Ba Dinh Ward: Continue to complete the work of serving the National Day September 2

With most of the rallies, parades, and marches celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 taking place in the area, Ba Dinh ward has taken measures to continue to improve service work.

In order to prepare for the parade, after the training sessions on August 21 and 24, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward organized a review of experience and comprehensive assessment of the task implementation process with the consistent spirit of looking directly at the shortcomings and limitations, promptly adjusting and overcoming them to ensure that the ward's tasks are implemented better and more effectively, contributing to the excellent completion of the assigned historical tasks.

One of the important tasks emphasized by the Ward People's Committee is the arrangement of cadres, civil servants, public employees, youth union members, volunteers, etc. to serve at the points to support people when needed. Through monitoring the reality during the 2 days of training, the Ward People's Committee found that the arrangement of some checkpoints and the assignment of the number of volunteers at the points were not appropriate.

Therefore, the Ward People's Committee has reviewed and adjusted to ensure that each gathering point has sufficient forces in terms of quantity and quality, promptly supporting and serving the people, while maintaining security, order, urban order, and environmental sanitation in areas within the ward.

Faced with a number of acts affecting urban order, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward has directed the establishment of an interdisciplinary inspection team to focus on inspection and promptly handle violations, especially at point 61 Tran Phu Street - where many people gather.

Implementing the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee on strengthening environmental sanitation and serving people when organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the work of maintaining environmental sanitation has been focused on by the Ward People's Committee. The Ward has directed the arrangement of forces to coordinate with units to ensure environmental sanitation in the entire area around Ba Dinh Square and the checkpoint areas right after the preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal, and official celebration. Forces were mobilized to participate in monitoring and reminding people to dispose of garbage in the right place...

To proactively control the situation, from the preliminary review on August 27 onwards, the ward has directed the ward police to arrange soft barriers at key points, such as: Phan Chu Trinh Primary School Gate, the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and No. 61 Tran Phu Street..., helping to regulate traffic, keep people safe, and at the same time create convenience in organization and operation.

In addition, in order to best serve people watching the preliminary review, final rehearsal and official ceremony, Ba Dinh Ward will prepare more chairs, fans and snacks to serve people at 61 Tran Phu Street. This is a large gathering point, so this addition not only meets essential needs but also creates comfort, demonstrating the spirit of dedicated service of the local government. Along with that, the Ward People's Committee has arranged and re-instructed the medical staff at the duty points, to ensure timely handling of arising situations related to people's health.

The urgent recognition, learning from experience and providing specific solutions after 2 training sessions not only contributed to restoring order, but also created a civilized, safe environment, in the spirit of an important political and social event, thereby leaving a good impression on the people and visitors attending the event.
