With this product, Phuc Anh wants to leave a strong impression with cinematic music . The song and MV Thena are also built in a cinematic style inspired by the story of a tribe in the Amazon jungle.
Thena MV was made by the team of director Ung Duy Kien. He is a familiar character who has made a series of MVs for Toc Tien, Soobin, Truc Nhan, Chi Pu. From the ideas discussed with Phuc Anh, thinking about the tribal image and cinematic style, Ung Duy Kien and his colleagues built a vibrant tribal world with typical choreography, but also not lacking in small stories and emotional interactions within that tribe.
Thena album is like a diary telling the journey of a person. From childhood to growing up with the experiences of adulthood. And the journey of a person is truly fulfilled when returning to reality, to the child in themselves, to the most honest and innocent self. Phuc Anh's real name is Tran Thi Hong Phuc (born in 1992), she was the valedictorian of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music and has just graduated with honors. She is also the valedictorian of Thanh Hoa University of Culture and Arts. She is also known as a student of People's Artist Ta Minh Tam and had an impressive duet with her teacher at the 2022 Mai Vang Awards ceremony.
People's Artist Ta Minh Tam commented that the album Thena is a new milestone for Phuc Anh: "The album is of high quality, with smooth and easy-to-listen melodies. The arrangements are well-made and effective. The visuals are very well done and very attractive. Before releasing the album, Phuc Anh also asked for my opinion when making the drafts and the teacher and student gave the most practical suggestions."
