Heavy rain and strong winds caused a lot of damage in Bac Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong

A heavy rain and wind that lasted about 30 minutes at noon on August 8 caused many structures and trees in Bac Gia Nghia ward (Lam Dong) to fall.

Mr. Trinh Anh, Chairman of Bac Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee, said that functional forces are focusing on overcoming the incident caused by heavy rain.

Before that, at around 13:30 to 14:00, there was an unusual rain and strong wind in the ward.

The incident caused some houses to have their roofs blown off; trees on Huynh Thuc Khang and Ton Duc Thang streets and the 19/8 Guest House grounds were knocked down...

Immediately after the incident, the functional forces of Bac Gia Nghia ward were present at the scene to clean up, collect fallen trees, trim branches blocking the road; at the same time, check and handle dangerous spots, ensuring people's safety.

According to the leader of Bac Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee, there were no human casualties, however some public and private properties were damaged.
