Phu Quoc welcomes 400 tourists from the Czech Republic

A group of 400 guests from the Czech Republic arrived at Phu Quoc airport on the morning of October 24 and are expected to stay on the pearl island until October 31.


On October 24, leaders of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Kien Giang province and some functional departments of Phu Quoc city were present at the airport to welcome a group of 400 visitors from the Czech Republic.

The group of tourists from the Czech Republic were excited to arrive in Phu Quoc.

This group of tourists on flight WFL8623 landed at Phu Quoc airport at 8:30 this morning, expected to stay until October 31.

According to the schedule, the group will visit entertainment spots in the North Island area: VinWonrdes, Grand World, Vinperd Safari... and explore the tropical sea center, Duong Dong market.

This is the second year Phu Quoc has welcomed groups of visitors from the Czech Republic, with the number of visitors doubling compared to the previous year in 2023.

In the near future, Phu Quoc will continue to welcome a flight bringing tourists from Slovakia to the pearl island at the end of October 2024 with about 400 passengers.

Currently, Phu Quoc airport welcomes more than 100 international flights/week, international visitors from 150 countries and territories around the world .

The leader of the Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the occasions of welcoming international delegations to Phu Quoc are opportunities for the locality to promote, introduce and advertise the image of this island to tourists, thereby expressing the respect and hospitality of the locality.
