Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh visited and encouraged families deeply flooded in Con Cuong commune.

Giving gifts and sharing the losses and difficulties of the people, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh said that ensuring absolute safety of human life is the top priority. Natural disasters are something no one wants, so he hopes that people will try and make efforts to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that although the water has partially receded, people absolutely must not be complacent. Above all, it is necessary to ensure safety of life; take advantage of the receding water to clean up the environment to prevent and control disease outbreaks after the flood.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh visited and encouraged families whose houses were deeply flooded in Tan Lien village, Con Cuong commune.

Next, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to more than 300 households, with nearly 1,000 people being evacuated to Pu Mat National Park.

Therefore, the Deputy Prime Minister hopes and requests that people continue to strictly follow the government's instructions, live peacefully, and only return home after safety, and not go to rivers, streams, or landslide areas on their own to avoid danger to their lives.

Emphasizing that the weather and flood situation is still complicated, flash floods can occur at any time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Party Committees and authorities of Nghe An province not to be subjective, and must urgently deploy plans to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and the State.
