The investment program was announced by PayPal in June 2020 to support businesses owned by people of color and minorities and help reduce economic inequality. In a complaint filed in Manhattan federal court, the businesswoman stated: "To PayPal and its executives, Asian Americans may be a minority, but they are the wrong group." PayPal has not commented on the above information.
