The Javan pangolin ( scientific name Manis Javanica, group IB in the list of endangered and rare forest animals) mentioned above weighs 2.9 kg and was discovered by Mr. Che Quang Thuan, residing in An Do Residential Area - Kim Tra Ward, while it was crawling into his garden this morning, September 6.

As soon as he discovered it, Mr. Thuan contacted and handed it over to the People's Committee of Kim Tra Ward. At the time of handover, the condition of the pangolin was completely normal.

“After receiving it, the government will coordinate with relevant forces to complete some procedures and hand it over to Bach Ma National Park for care and release into the natural environment,” said Mr. Mai Van Xuan.
