Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van spoke at the Congress

Attending the Congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, member of the City Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City; Mr. Vo Le Nhat, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Xuan Ward; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, unions and 142 outstanding delegates representing the great national solidarity bloc of the ward.

This congress has the task of summarizing the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term; reviewing the activities of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Fatherland Front; and at the same time setting out directions, goals, and action programs for the 2025-2030 term. The congress also conducted democratic consultation to elect the first term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.

The first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Xuan Ward was held in the context that the whole ward had reorganized and merged socio- political organizations and mass organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front. This is considered an important milestone, creating unity and promoting the strength of national solidarity in the new period.

At the Congress, delegates discussed enthusiastically, frankly and democratically, unanimously passing many important contents, affirming their determination to strengthen and promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building social consensus and promoting local development.

The congress consulted and elected the first term Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, consisting of 62 members; at the same time elected the chairman, 4 vice chairmen, 12 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 11th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city, term 2025 - 2030.
