According to Reuters, on February 14, Chinese President Xi Jinping shared that he plans to chair a symposium to promote the momentum of private enterprises in China next week.

The symposium will address challenges facing Chinese companies, from escalating tensions with the United States under President Donald Trump to slowing growth in the domestic economy .

Mr. Xi's actions show the Chinese government 's great concern for private businesses in the country.

The conference was attended by domestic business leaders, especially billionaire Jack Ma - founder of Alibaba.

The return of billionaire Jack Ma - who faced government opposition and largely disappeared from public view for years since 2020 - at this conference could create new confidence in the business community.
