Omoda C5 and Jaecoo J7 price reduction in June 2025

The B-size crossover Omoda C5 is reduced by 40-67 million VND, the C-size SUV Jaecoo J7 is reduced by 70-90 million VND this June, along with many other promotions.

Specifically, the Omoda C5 B-size crossover model has reduced prices for all versions, including Luxury reduced by 40 million VND, Premium reduced by 59 million VND, and Flagship reduced by 67 million VND. In addition, customers also receive a 100% reduction in registration fees, a free one-year physical insurance, a 2-year or 20,000 km maintenance package, and a car accessory package. Thus, the selling price of the C5 is only from 499-602 million VND.

For the Jaecoo J7, the Flagship version is reduced by 70 million VND, while the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is reduced by 90 million VND, with an additional promotion of 10 years of free gas, equivalent to 90 million VND, which can be deducted directly from the selling price, and an additional portable charger. The selling price of the J7 is only 729-879 million VND.

Omoda C5 is discounted for all versions, including Luxury at 40 million VND, Premium at 59 million VND, and Flagship at 67 million VND.

The above promotions make the prices of both C5 and J7 among the lowest in the segment. Competitors of C5 include MG ZS (VND 518-588 million), Geely Coolray (VND 538-628 million), Mazda CX-3 (VND 522-641 million), Hyundai Creta (VND 599-699 million). C5 will be launched to Vietnamese customers in late 2024, imported from Indonesia, with the highest warranty policy in the current Vietnamese auto market, with a 7-year or 1,000,000 km transmission system, 10-year or 1,000,000 km engine, whichever comes first.

The car is equipped with a 1.5 turbocharged engine, 154 horsepower, maximum torque of 230 Nm, CVT gearbox. In March this year, Omoda launched a low-cost version C5 Luxury, with changed equipment, the engine remains the same.

Jaecoo J7, Flagship version reduced by 70 million VND, and plug-in hybrid version (PHEV) reduced by 90 million VND, with an additional promotion of 10 years of free gas refueling.

Meanwhile, J7's competitors are Mazda CX-5 (VND 749-979 million), Ford Territory (VND 759-889 million), Honda CR-V (VND 1.029-1.259 billion), Hyundai Tucson (VND 769-989 million), Kia Sportage (VND 779-999 million). In the segment, C7 is the first model to have the PHEV powertrain option, followed by BYD Sealion 6.

The J7 internal combustion engine version is equipped with a 1.6 turbocharged gasoline engine, 183 horsepower, maximum torque of 275 Nm, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The PHEV version includes a 1.5 TDGI gasoline engine with 141 horsepower, maximum torque of 215 Nm, combined with a 201 horsepower, 310 Nm electric motor, DHT continuously variable transmission specifically for hybrid vehicles, 18.3 kWh battery pack, for a pure electric operating range of 106 km.
