On March 26, in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to honor outstanding young faces and promising young faces of the entire army in 2024.
Second Lieutenant, professional soldier Pham Thuy Duong, staff of the Propaganda Department, Political Department, Provincial Military Command was honored as one of 60 promising young faces in the entire army.
Second Lieutenant, professional soldier Pham Thuy Duong, born in 2001, from Hung Dao commune (Tu Ky), volunteered to join the army in 2021.
Ms. Duong won 3 gold medals at the 2022 Military Martial Arts Clubs Unarmed Combat Championship, the 2023 Military Martial Arts Clubs Unarmed Combat Sports Festival, and the 2024 National Defense Sports Festival.
Ms. Duong also actively participates in military parades celebrating major national holidays.

The 10 outstanding young faces and 60 promising young faces of the entire army in 2024 were honored as the most outstanding examples, representing hundreds of thousands of union members and young people in the entire army in all fields of military work; closely voted by the Ministry of National Defense's council.
