Former CAHN member joins Ninh Binh

Striker Gustavo Henrique became the first foreign player to join Ninh Binh, preparing for the 2025/26 pre-season training session.

Before returning to V.League, Gustavo played in Brazil for América de Natal on loan from Zakho FC (Iraq). Last season, he scored 17 goals in 35 matches, showing stable performance and reliable finishing ability.

The Brazilian player played for CAHN in the 2023 season, contributing 6 goals and making an important contribution to helping the Public Security team win the V.League championship in the first season of promotion.

Experience playing in Vietnam, good scoring efficiency and quick adaptation to the environment are factors that help Gustavo catch the eye of the new recruit of V.League 2025/26.

In addition to Gustavo, the ancient capital team plans to recruit two more Spanish foreign players in the positions of central defender and central midfielder. The remaining foreign player slot will be reserved for a striker to strengthen the attack.

Regarding domestic players, Ninh Binh has signed contracts with a series of players from HAGL such as Chau Ngoc Quang, Le Minh Bao Toan and Dung Quang Nho. In addition, the team also reached a preliminary agreement with center back Duc Chien from The Cong Viettel .

In addition to adding players, Ninh Binh also invested heavily in the coaching staff. According to the research, the team will bring in a Spanish head coach and his associates including a fitness coach, a goalkeeper coach, a tactical analyst and a technical assistant. This team of experts is expected to arrive in Vietnam in early July to begin work.

According to the plan, Ninh Binh will gather on July 2 to officially enter the preparation phase for the first season in V.League. With synchronous and methodical investment, the rookie team is showing great determination in their return to the highest level of Vietnamese football.
