The unit with valid registration documents to preside over the implementation is the Institute of Science, Technology, Energy and Environment.
Conference scene.
At the Conference, the representative of the host unit presented the main contents of the project, focusing on investigating and evaluating the current status of large clam resources in coastal tidal areas; studying the reproductive biology and living environment factors of this species; proposing measures to protect and restore resources; researching and testing artificial seed production techniques on an experimental scale, and testing the construction of a model for large clam seed production in Hai Phong .
After listening to the report, the Council members discussed and contributed many important opinions, requesting the research team to edit and supplement to complete the topic. Specifically: need to adjust the task name to suit the reality; clearly define specific objectives; supplement the number of individuals for experimental farming and infrastructure conditions; clarify expected results; supplement research on the feed farming model; re-check the salinity threshold during experimental farming; analyze development potential, market demand and product prices. In addition, the research team also needs to clearly state the implementation location at each stage and supplement the project implementation time appropriately.
The Advisory Council unanimously approved the project and requested the host unit to seriously consider all comments, revise and complete the documents and implementation plan. The successful research on artificial seed production techniques for giant clams will open up a new direction of development, contributing to diversifying aquaculture species and promoting the marine economy in Hai Phong in the coming time./.
