Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that in the context of complicated developments in the world economy, Nghe An is still an attractive destination for foreign investors with 129 investment projects from 14 countries/territories with a total registered investment capital of nearly 3.7 billion USD. Of which, Hong Kong, China ranks first in the number of projects and investment capital in Nghe An province with 38 projects and a total registered investment capital of nearly 2 billion USD.
Sharing the potential, strengths, investment environment and attractive investment attraction mechanisms and policies of the province, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the policy of Nghe An province in the period of 2021 - 2025 will focus on attracting investment projects in the fields of high-tech industry, supporting industry, manufacturing of components, electronic equipment and some environmentally friendly manufacturing industries with high added value. The fields that Nghe An is prioritizing to attract investment are all strengths of large Chinese corporations and enterprises, so Nghe An is a potential area with many investment cooperation opportunities for Chinese investors when they want to implement projects in Vietnam.
Based on the existing good friendship and cooperation, Nghe An province wishes to call on more Chinese enterprises to come to research, invest in business and tourism in the province. Nghe An province's leaders are committed to always accompany investors in surveying, selecting locations and resolving administrative procedures for investment.
In addition to creating an attractive and transparent investment and business environment, promptly resolving all difficulties and problems of investors throughout the investment process, production and business activities of the project, the province will focus on synchronously implementing 5 key solutions such as: Planning and site; Synchronous infrastructure; High-quality human resources; Innovation, reform, and substantial improvement of the investment and business environment; Accompanying and supporting businesses and investors.
Within the framework of the seminar, Chinese enterprises had a session to connect, exchange and look forward to investment cooperation opportunities in fields such as processing industry, manufacturing, electronics... with Nghe An province.
Concluding the discussion, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, comrade Bui Thanh An respectfully thanked Thien Nang Group for the introduction and connection; thanked Chinese investors who have chosen and will choose Nghe An province as a destination for investment survey; affirmed that Nghe An province will make more efforts to improve the investment environment, prepare planning, land, infrastructure, human resources and other synchronous requirements to promptly receive and attract foreign direct investment capital, including Chinese investors to Nghe An province.
During this working trip, the Nghe An Provincial Delegation worked and visited factories and production lines of the following corporations: JuTeng, Runergy, Shandong, Thien Nang. These are strategic investors who have implemented and are studying investment project proposals in Nghe An.
