Saigon Co.op launches a discount program of up to 50% for students

(Chinhphu.vn) - As the 2025-2026 school year is approaching, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) is launching a discount program called "Back to School Deal - Loving Price" at 800 points of sale nationwide, with many school products discounted up to 50%.

In preparation for the new school year 2025-2026, Saigon Co.op has launched special incentive programs exclusively for students nationwide. Typically, the program "Back to school deal - Love price" is held from now until August 13 at 800 points of sale of Saigon Co.op, including supermarket systems Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile, Cheers, Finelife, Co.oponline, Sense city, Sense market...

The program aims to help parents reduce the burden of expenses during the back-to-school season and also implement the market stabilization program for learning goods deployed by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade.

The program offers discounts from 30% to 50% on school products such as notebooks, backpacks, handbags, school uniforms, shoes, plastic water bottles, LED lights, pencil cases, pens of all kinds, notebooks and many other items. This is a great opportunity for parents to prepare all the necessary school supplies for their children at reasonable prices.

Participating in the market stabilization program for educational goods implemented by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, this year Saigon Co.op registered to stabilize prices for items such as school uniforms (38,400 sets), notebooks (800,000 books), with a commitment to prices at least 5% lower than the average market price. Back-to-school stabilization products of other brands such as Hami, Mr Vui, Vinh Tien are also distributed at Saigon Co.op's points of sale, ensuring convenience for customers.

In particular, the program does not only stop at price stabilization, but also designs special incentive activities for parents. Customers who are members of Saigon Co.op (bronze, silver, gold, platinum levels) have the opportunity to receive 5 bonus points when purchasing products with the "x5 points" icon such as Matsu plastic water bottles, pencil boxes, pencil bags, pencils, ballpoint pens, student boards... with discounts from 25% to 35%.

Saigon Co.op hopes to bring high-quality products at stable prices, helping to reduce the financial burden on parents when preparing for the new school year. This is one of the practical activities, contributing to supporting the community in the context of the approaching school season.
