* This month before Tet, the molasses cooking business in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district becomes more bustling. Molasses furnaces are burning day and night to produce batches of sweet, smooth molasses to serve diners from near and far.

* For decades, wild tamarind trees have grown among the stilt houses in the Thai village of Ky Son district. Over time, the tamarind forest has been preserved and developed, and is currently in its fruiting season, creating a rare sense of peace.
