While the Pedagogy majors continue to maintain high and stable scores, the non-Pedagogy majors also record strong attraction, with an average admission score of more than 23 points. In particular, the Psychology major stands out when achieving the highest score of 28.08 points.

According to Dr. Huynh Trung Phong, Director of the school's Center for Student Support and Startup Development, a notable advantage when choosing a non-pedagogical major at HCMUE is that the enrollment quota is reasonably allocated, expanding the opportunity for candidates to be admitted.
In addition, the entrance score is often “softer” than some key pedagogical majors. For example, while many pedagogical majors have standard scores ranging from 26 to more than 29 points, the Korean Language, Japanese Language and Information Technology majors are only at 22, 21 and 19 points respectively.
This difference shows that the opportunity to access high-quality training programs at HCMUE is completely feasible for a large number of candidates.
Not only expanding admission opportunities, non-pedagogical majors also provide diverse career paths, meeting human resource needs in many fields such as science, technology, economics , society, services, research and international integration. Thanks to that, after graduation, students can confidently affirm their abilities, adapt flexibly and grasp many career development opportunities both domestically and internationally.
