Which industry has the highest university admission floor score in 2025?

This year, the Diplomatic Academy and Saigon University are the two leading schools with majors requiring a minimum score of up to 25 points.

Specifically, the Diplomatic Academy takes the highest floor score of 25 points in the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography), applied to the following majors: International Relations, International Law, International Communications, International Trade Law, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies, American Studies, Chinese Studies. Compared to last year, the floor score for this group increased by 1.5 points.

For the remaining combinations, the school sets the floor score at 22.

Saigon University takes the floor score of all admission methods after conversion from 17-25 points. In which, History Education and Geography Education majors both consider admission group C00 (Literature, History, Geography) with the floor score of 25, an increase of 6 points compared to last year.

Following is Mathematics Education with a minimum score of 24.5 points. The series of majors with a minimum score of 24 points include: Physics Education, Chemistry, Literature, and English.

On the other hand, Hung Vuong University in Ho Chi Minh City has set the minimum score for university admission based on the high school graduation exam score at 12 points, the lowest in the country to date. Based on the transcript, the university has set the minimum score at 15 points.

Today (July 28) is the deadline for candidates to complete registration and adjust their university admission wishes. After 5:00 p.m., the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training will close.

According to the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training, registration of admission wishes for majors/programs must be done online on the General Admission Support System of the Ministry of Education and Training or indirectly through the National Public Service Portal.

Candidates' wishes must be registered by major/program and ranked from 1 to the end. Of which, wish 1 is the highest wish. Each candidate will only be admitted to 1 highest wish among the registered wishes when ensuring that they meet the admission requirements.

After registering and adjusting university admission wishes for 2025, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

From August 16 to August 20, the Ministry of Education and Training will process admission applications (virtual filtering). At 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will enter admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results.

Training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission from 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

After knowing the admission score, all admitted candidates (including direct admission candidates) must confirm their enrollment on the system (if they wish to study) before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

From September 1 to December, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of the training institution, follow the admission information posted on the training institution's admission information page.
