Responding to the emulation movement to achieve achievements to welcome the 8th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Education sector, educational institutions in Ninh Binh province have actively implemented activities to improve teaching quality, encourage the application of new methods and modern technology, contributing to creating positive changes in education .
Innovation in thinking, improving the quality of comprehensive education
Identifying innovation as the driving force to promote the quality of education, schools across the province have concretized the emulation movement with practical actions, notably taking students as the center and aiming to develop comprehensive capacity for learners.

At Tran Bich San Secondary School (Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh), professional groups actively apply technology to teaching such as using software Quizizz, Canva, Padlet... combined with mind maps to increase interaction, liveliness and efficiency in class. Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Nguyet, Principal of the school shared, we constantly innovate so that each lesson not only imparts knowledge but also helps students practice skills, develop creative thinking and teamwork spirit.
Not only innovating teaching methods, the school also organizes "Innovation and Creativity Week in Teaching" - a professional playground to stimulate teachers' creativity and spread the spirit of learning throughout the school. The STEM lesson "Isosceles Trapezoid" by Ms. Vu Thi Chau Loan is a vivid example. Students not only approach geometry knowledge visually but also design real-life models such as bridges, houses, traffic signs, etc. from recycled materials. "When students make their own products, knowledge becomes much closer and easier to absorb," said Ms. Loan.
Le Quy Don Secondary School (Y Yen, Ninh Binh) has also effectively implemented active teaching models. Last school year, the school's Social Science Department successfully developed and applied the topic "Interdisciplinary Geography - History - Civic Education towards developing digital citizenship qualities", creating excitement for learning and stimulating students' critical thinking and presentation skills. Ms. Dao Thi Ngoc Ha, Principal of Le Quy Don Secondary School, shared that we aim to turn each lesson into an experience, where students actively explore and form personal opinions.
From innovation to sustainable performance
Tran Dang Ninh Secondary School (Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh) is one of the leading units in researching, testing and replicating innovative initiatives. A typical example is the "Mock Trial" model in teaching Literature - a creative way to help students apply knowledge to solve social situations, thereby developing their skills in debate, criticism and legal thinking. Ms. Tran Thi Huong, Principal, informed that we always create conditions for teachers to boldly innovate. Only when teachers truly innovate, will students have the opportunity to access knowledge in a profound way, suitable for the digital age.
Not only stopping at the new teaching model, Tran Dang Ninh Secondary School also stands out with the promotion of the application of digital teaching equipment (TBDHS) designed and developed by the teachers in the school. These software help exploit lesson content in an intuitive and flexible way, can be used anytime, anywhere, especially suitable in the context of limited traditional equipment.

Along with that, Tran Bich San Secondary School also made its mark in applying information technology and digitalization to teaching. Many creative products designed by teachers themselves not only won prizes at provincial and national competitions but were also effectively implemented in teaching practice. In addition, the school's pedagogical scientific research topics were also highly appreciated, contributing to spreading the innovation model to many units in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training, emphasized that the movement of innovation and creativity in teaching has become a strong driving force for teachers to promote their intelligence, enthusiasm and join hands to improve the quality of education. This is not only an activity responding to the emulation movement but also an important preparation process for the whole sector to effectively implement the 2018 General Education Program.
The spirit of innovation and creativity in teaching and learning is no longer a movement, but is gradually becoming a part of the pedagogical culture in every school in Ninh Binh. From attractively designed lessons, effective integrated models, to professional initiatives and practically applied digital teaching equipment, the Ninh Binh Education sector is gradually creating a modern, humane and sustainable learning environment.
