Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister and the State Bank of Vietnam , Agribank has just issued an urgent directive within the system to deploy tasks, ensuring timely gift giving to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Accordingly, Agribank arranged staff to work during the holiday for 4 days (from August 30 to September 2) to carry out payment transactions as required by the State Treasury.

Agribank coordinates with the State Treasury in localities, ready to serve cash disbursements to the State Treasury, including transactions outside of working hours and on holidays, ensuring timely money transfers and cash withdrawals for gifts to people, within the prescribed time.

In addition, the bank does not charge fees when executing payment orders from the State Treasury and people withdraw money according to Government policy.

Agribank is one of the banks that cooperated with the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR) to deploy social security services for payment accounts. Accordingly, people can link payment accounts at selected banks on the VNeID application to receive gifts on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

Currently, there are 20 units selected to disburse gifts of 100,000 VND to people on this holiday, including: Agribank, Vietcombank, BIDV, VietinBank, LPBank, Vikki Bank, MBBank, PVCombank, HDBank, VNPT Money, Co-opBank, Shinhan Bank, TPBank, NCB, Nam A Bank, Kienlong Bank, BVBank, ACB, MSB and Sacombank.

According to the banks' instructions, to receive gifts by bank transfer, customers with bank accounts need to link their social security accounts on VNeID with their bank accounts. This link also helps customers receive social security payments.

For customers who already have a bank account, please follow these steps:

Open the VNeID app on your phone.

Go to “Social Security”.

Select “Social Security Account”.

Select the bank name and enter the account number to link.

For customers who already have VNeID but do not have a bank account, download the banking application and select "Open account/Register for mobile banking".

Banks recommend downloading applications only from the App Store (for iOS operating systems) and Google Play/CH Play (for Android operating systems).

Banks recommend that customers and people do not click on strange links, do not download applications from unknown sources; do not provide account numbers, passwords, OTP codes to anyone in any form; do not transfer money to strangers...
