The town of Graivoron in Russia's Belgorod region, about 7 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, burned for several hours, damaging four houses, a shop, a car, a gas pipeline and a power line, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Near the border, a recreation center, a shop and an empty house in the village of Glotovo were damaged. Mr Gladkov said a woman was injured in the attack.

Earlier this week, the Belgorod region was the target of one of the cross-border attacks. Russia blamed the Ukrainian armed forces, but two pro-Ukrainian Russian groups claimed responsibility.

Officials in the city of Krasnodar, which borders Crimea, said two drones had attacked the city. Witnesses told local media they heard what sounded like a motorbike and then two explosions.

Krasnodar region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev wrote on Telegram that there were no casualties and some buildings were damaged but essential infrastructure was not affected.

Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov said a residential building and an office building were damaged. Earlier this month, an oil refinery in Krasnodar was attacked by drones for two consecutive days.

Late Friday, officials in the Russian-controlled Donetsk region reported two rocket attacks on the city of Mariupol.

Russia's TASS news agency quoted an unnamed official as saying the missiles were long-range Storm Shadows, which were delivered to Ukraine by the UK this month.
