According to Sputnik , the Russian Ministry of Defense has just released a video of an airstrike destroying a long-range S-300 air defense system of the Ukrainian army yesterday, October 8.

Previously, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian air defense system had intercepted a Tochka-U tactical missile and two S-200 air defense missiles used by Ukraine to attack Russian rear areas.

Additionally, the Russian Armed Forces took control of a Ukrainian drone command center in the Donetsk region and suppressed 25 Ukrainian drones using electronic suppression systems.

The conflict in Ukraine is not all about tanks, trench warfare, UAV attacks and missiles. Electronic warfare – the use of electronic signals to find, intercept and jam enemy systems – is a key element of day-to-day fighting.
