Cultivating the “seeds” of technology in the hearts of Gen Z

Vietnam is entering an important era of transformation. Technological breakthroughs such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain are redefining the way people store data transparently, applying technology to access and process huge amounts of information. In this flow, Nami Foundation has gradually affirmed its mission of accompanying and developing human resources with outstanding technological thinking, especially Gen Z.

Accordingly, the campaign "Nami Foundation Accompanying Gen Z" is deployed with the goal of nurturing creativity and mastering the field of blockchain technology in the future, aiming at a long-term vision: Connecting the community, Enabling the generation.

In the first months of 2025, “Nami Foundation Accompanying Gen Z” will continue to supporteducational projects, seminars, and competitions to honor creative initiatives in the fields of technology and finance, with a focus on blockchain, typically the TEDxThuongMai University program at the University of Commerce and the RMIT Research Challenge at RMIT University.

Nami Foundation focuses on fostering a dynamic academic environment where innovative technological ideas are nurtured through the connection between academic knowledge and practical, applied technological thinking.

According to Mr. Giap Van Dai, Founder and CEO of Nami Foundation: "By accompanying Gen Z, Nami Foundation wishes to nurture and create future generations, capable of reaching international standards, thereby affirming Vietnam's technological autonomy as well as its ability to create unique business models that are not inferior to other countries in the field of Blockchain in particular and the financial technology industry in general".

Creating momentum for the future generation in the blockchain era in Vietnam to rise up

Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the generation leading the digital transformation journey in Vietnam, not only because of their quick access to AI and blockchain technology, but also because of their flexible adaptive mindset. For this generation, technology is a natural part of education, work, and life.

Nami Foundation constantly carries out the mission of "Connecting communities, Enabling generations".

The role and capacity of this generation of digital citizens are increasingly affirmed in the context of Vietnam focusing on investing in blockchain science and technology. According to Mr. Giap Van Dai - Founder and CEO of Nami Foundation - in Bloomberg electronic magazine in May 2024, Vietnam has not yet, but is expected to be a potential environment for a government-controlled technology application testing mechanism (sandbox) for the blockchain and financial technology fields.

This shift is no longer a prediction but is gradually becoming real. Accordingly, the National Blockchain Strategy with the orientation of developing the Blockchain Layer 1 platform “Make in Vietnam” is the basis for building a legal framework, expanding the blockchain technology application ecosystem and developing new business models in many important areas such as finance, logistics, agriculture , and national public data management.

Nami Foundation continuously carries out the mission of "Connecting the community, Enlightening the generation" through a series of activities aimed at the student community.

In this context, Nami Foundation continues to extend the value of “Connecting the community, Enabling the generation”. Not only accompanying universities, Nami Foundation will focus on building a blockchain technology knowledge network, nurturing the application of interdisciplinary science and technology into practice through organizing a series of workshops, seminars, and specialized competitions targeting Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha. Thereby developing key young technology human resources, contributing to a Vietnam in the new technology era.
