Nafoods Group proactively transforms digitally and develops green economy in the spirit of Resolution 57 and Resolution 68

Through the working session with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Delegation, Nafoods Group has had many important orientations in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development in the coming time.

Recently, a working delegation led by Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and representatives of leaders of Central departments, institutes, ministries, branches, and leaders of Nghe An province visited and worked at Nafoods Group. At the meeting, representatives of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission discussed many important contents to concretize Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation into practice.

The Resolution clearly identifies that developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are strategic breakthroughs and the main driving force to promote national modernization, innovate national governance methods, and develop the economy and society rapidly and sustainably.

As for Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, the goal is that by 2030, the private economy will become a pioneering force, achieving a growth rate of 10–12%/year, contributing 55–58% of GDP, 35–40% of the state budget, and solving 84–85% of jobs.

At the same time, the working delegation clearly analyzed 8 key groups of solutions to promote the private economy to become an important driving force of the national economy in the Resolution.

At the meeting, Nafoods Group leaders shared important results in nearly 30 years of development. Especially in building a closed value chain: Research and seed production, Development of raw material areas, Processing and production solutions, Distribution - Trade - Export.

The development achievements of Nafoods Group are clear evidence of the attention and practical support from the Party and State's policies in promoting the private economic sector.

Currently, Nafoods Group's deeply processed agricultural products are distributed to more than 70 countries worldwide. Gradually creating stable jobs for thousands of workers in many localities; actively contributing to agricultural export turnover; developing sustainable raw material areas; at the same time linking business growth with social responsibility and environmental protection.

These achievements clearly reflect the important orientations of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. This has become a strategic driving force, contributing to bringing the country into a new era.

At the meeting, the delegation listened to and discussed with Nafoods Group about 4 key solution groups to create a favorable corridor for the private economic sector, while clearly demonstrating Nafoods' orientation and commitment to increasing the added value of Vietnamese agricultural products.

The recommendations include: Perfecting institutions, policies and administrative procedures; investing in infrastructure and digital databases for agricultural products; promoting R&D, innovation and cooperation with institutes and schools; along with developing digital human resources, expanding international cooperation and applying modern technologies such as blockchain, QR codes in traceability, in order to bring Vietnamese agricultural products further into the global market.

Based on the set goals to concretize Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Nafoods Group is determined to promote digital transformation, promote innovation and develop a sustainable green economy in the coming period.
