Flood level on Trung River exceeds alarm level III by 127 cm

-According to information from Lang Son Hydrometeorological Station, the flood water level on Trung River measured at Huu Lung Hydrological Station at 3:00 p.m. on June 23 was 2,027 cm, 127 cm higher than the alarm level III, 9 cm higher than at 8:00 a.m. the same day.

Heavy rains caused flooding in many locations in Huu Lung district.

It is forecasted that in the next 6-12 hours, the flood on the Trung River will change little and peak in the afternoon of June 23, then gradually decrease. In the next 12-24 hours, the flood level on the Trung River will fluctuate between alert level I and alert level II.

Flooding makes it difficult for people to move around in Huu Lung district.

According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Huu Lung district, as of the afternoon of June 23, there were still some isolated flooded areas in the district such as: Minh Tien commune had 3 isolated areas in Dong Khu, Dong Tam, Quyet Tam villages; Nhat Tien commune had 1 isolated area in Tan Nhien village; Hoa Binh commune had 2 isolated areas in Dong Luong, Trang villages and some roads were flooded from 60 cm to 1 m...

Currently, forces continue to deploy flood response solutions to minimize human and property damage.
