In the third quarter of 2024, Nam A Bank announced pre-tax profit of VND 1,106 billion, up 112% over the same period. In the first 9 months, the bank's profit was VND 3,323 billion, up 62% over the same period and achieved 83% of the yearly plan.
Third quarter profit grew strongly due to strong growth in net interest income and non-interest income compared to the same period last year. In addition, Nam A Bank's operating expenses also decreased slightly compared to the third quarter of last year.
As of September 30, Nam A Bank's total assets reached nearly VND240,000 billion; capital mobilization reached nearly VND173,000 billion; outstanding loans reached nearly VND164,000 billion. By the end of the third quarter, Nam A Bank had VND4,670 billion in bad debt, equivalent to a rate of 2.85%.
