On July 9, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) awarded Jackpot 2 in the Power 6/55 lottery to Mr. NHT with a prize value of more than 16 billion VND.
Through checking the lottery business data system and the attached personal profile, Vietlott determined that Mr. NHT was the winner of Jackpot 2 of the Power 6/55 lottery product in the 1,210th draw held on July 1 with a prize value of VND 16,003,987,500 (more than VND 16 billion).
Mr. T is a Viettel subscriber who bought a ticket on Vietlott's phone distribution channel (Vietlott SMS support application) and registered his place of participation as Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. T is living and working as a worker in Ho Chi Minh City.

The lucky numbers on the lottery ticket that Mr. T won were 03 - 11 - 12 - 14 - 27 - 33 and the golden pair of numbers to determine the Jackpot 2 prize was 15.
Sharing about the winning numbers, Mr. T said: “The winning numbers are the birth dates of me, my wife and children. I have bought these numbers every day since I started playing for Mega 6/45, Power 6/55 and now Lotto 5/35. When I heard the news, I told my parents, but my wife is about to give birth so I haven’t told her yet to avoid affecting her health.
With this prize money, I will spend part of it to help my family, and part to study my favorite profession. Before, because my economy was not stable, I put my dream aside to earn money to take care of my family. Now, I can rest assured to pursue the job I love."
At the award ceremony, Mr. T donated 500 million VND to build houses of gratitude/solidarity for households in difficult circumstances and people with revolutionary contributions.
According to regulations, Mr. T. is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of registration to participate in the prize, which is Ho Chi Minh City, with a value of nearly 1.6 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
