Dismissal and election of additional members of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021 term

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung presented Document No. 9396 dated December 2, 2024 requesting the Provincial People's Council to consider and dismiss 2 individuals from the position of Provincial People's Committee member for the 2021-2026 term.

Specifically, Mr. Le Trung Thanh - Colonel, Commander of the Provincial Military Command was appointed by the Minister of National Defense to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5 from November 1, 2024; Mr. Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Information and Communications was assigned by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department from November 4, 2024.

As a result, 100% of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council present agreed with the proposal and voted unanimously to dismiss; the resolution confirmed the results of dismissal from the position of Provincial People's Committee member for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Trung Thanh and Mr. Pham Hong Quang.

Next, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung presented Document No. 9397 dated December 2, 2024 on introducing personnel to elect additional positions as members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications.

Previously, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2582 dated October 30, 2024 on accepting Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Deputy Secretary of Thang Binh District Party Committee to work and appoint him to the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications, from November 4, 2024.

Agreeing with the proposal, 100% of the Provincial People's Council delegates present elected Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications to hold the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term. The Provincial People's Council resolved to confirm the election results.
