After the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final, President of the Thai Football Federation Madam Pang went to the Vietnamese fans to thank them.
The Thai team suffered a 2-3 defeat against the Vietnamese team in the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final. They were unable to win the championship after losing 3-5 overall to Vietnam.
Madam Pang is a familiar face and has made great contributions to the development of Thai football over the past decade. From 2015 to 2019, she was the head of the women's football team that participated in the 2015 and 2019 World Cups, and then led the men's football team to win the 2020 and 2022 AFF Cups. At the same time, she is also the President of Port FC, one of the oldest football teams in Thailand.
Last year, Madam Pang became the first female president of the Football Association of Thailand, with 68 out of 73 votes in favor. Not only that, Madam Pang is also the President and CEO of Muang Thai Insurance, one of the leading insurance companies in Thailand.
She is also the CEO of Kasikorn Bank (KBank), one of the four largest banks in Thailand. She is also involved in the luxury car industry as a co-owner of Meister Technik, the distributor of Audi cars in Thailand.
She is one of the pioneers in importing high-end fashion products from abroad to Thailand. Through two companies, Wanmani and San Honor, she has brought big brands such as Hermes, Emporio Armani, Chloe, Blumarine... closer to Thai consumers.

Madam Pang graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and continued her studies for a master's degree in management at Boston University (USA).
Although Madam Pang’s personal assets are not publicly disclosed, experts estimate her assets to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. One of her most prominent assets is a villa located in the heart of Sukhumvit, Bangkok, with an area of over 2,000 square meters.
At the 2022 AFF Cup, Madam Pang gave the Thai team a bonus of 26 million baht (about 19 billion VND) after they won the championship. In addition to cash, she also gave players and coaching staff many luxurious gifts, including designer handbags, Rolex watches and even cars for outstanding individuals.
After the team's victories, she continued to spend millions of baht to boost the team's morale and held lavish celebrations. Madam Pang was also known for investing in modern facilities and equipment, and organizing international training trips to improve the Thai team's level.
She always emphasized that football is not only a sport but also a source of national pride. "The success of the team cannot be achieved without both spiritual and material encouragement. I want each player to feel that they are not only playing for themselves, but also for the millions of Thai fans," she shared in an interview.
