Preserving the Khan (Epic) performance of the Ede people

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just organized audio and video recording of the Khan (Epic) performance of the Ede people in Ea Tul commune, Cu M'gar district for archival purposes.

In the traditional long house space, the artists practiced the khan singing style, the way to sing along with the lyrics, the way to practice performance skills as well as the way to improvise and be creative in the art of performing epics.

Previously, in mid-June, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Cu M'gar district to organize a performance class and teach Khan (Epic) of the Ede people in Ea Tul commune.

The above activities aim to implement Plan No. 13/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on "Protecting and promoting the values ​​of national intangible cultural heritage in Dak Lak province for the period 2023 - 2025".
