Lieutenant Colonel Pham Vu Tuan - Deputy Commander of the Military Training Brigade, main pilot said that the two patients include: Mr. Vo Sy Danh (born in 1981, fisherman of the QNa 91577 ship, Quang Nam province) suffering from left renal colic, grade I renal pelvis dilation due to left ureteral stones, urinary tract infection; soldier Tran Khanh Duy (Engineering Squad Leader, Navy Brigade 131) suffered from a fracture of the lower end of both tibia bones due to a work accident. The two patients are being treated at the Truong Sa Island Infirmary.
Immediately after returning to the mainland, the patients were transported by ambulance to Military Hospital 87. |
Immediately after receiving the order, on the morning of June 13, Brigade 954 used DHC-6 seaplane numbered VNT-772 to take off from Cam Ranh airport to Truong Sa island to pick up two patients and transport them to the mainland. At 11:00, the ambulance flight landed safely at Cam Ranh airport. After that, the two patients were transferred to Military Hospital 87 for further testing and consultation.
