Schedule of Vietnam women's volleyball team in world tournament

(Dan Tri) - The Vietnamese women's volleyball team entered the world championship in Thailand for the first time. Let's take a look at the team's schedule for the upcoming tournament.

The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship takes place from August 22 to September 7 in Thailand with the participation of 32 teams from continents around the world.

According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is in Group G with the women's teams of Poland, Germany and Kenya. This group will compete in Phuket. The top two teams will advance to the round of 16.

Initially, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team registered 14 athletes to participate in the tournament. However, at the last minute, Bich Tuyen withdrew due to personal reasons. Coach Tuan Kiet did not have time to add more players. Therefore, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was the only team with only 13 athletes participating in the tournament.

The list of 13 Vietnamese female volleyball athletes participating in the world championship includes: Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Le Thanh Thuy.

Before the World Cup, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team played two friendly matches against quality opponents. We lost 0-4 to Spain and won 4-0 to Kenya.

Today, the entire Vietnamese women's volleyball team went to Thailand to prepare for the most important tournament of the year.
