Match schedule of Vietnam women's football team at the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship

VHO - Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will compete in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, taking place at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong) from August 6 to 19.

This year's tournament brings together 8 teams, including: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia (Group A), Indonesia Australia, Philippines, Myanmar and Timor Leste (Group B).

The teams are divided into 2 groups, compete in a round robin to calculate points, rank, and select the 2 teams with the best results to enter the semi-finals.

Accordingly, the matches in the group stage will take place from August 6 to 13. Group A will compete at Lach Tray Stadium, Group B will compete at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ).

According to the match schedule, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will play Cambodia (August 6), Indonesia (August 9) and close the group stage with a "big match" with Thailand (August 12).

All matches of the Vietnamese women's football team in the group stage take place at 7:30 p.m., promising to attract a large number of fans to the stadium to cheer.

To prepare for this year's tournament, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team have been in Hai Phong since July 30 and have been practicing to achieve the best results.

In the most recent training session, Coach Mai Duc Chung arranged for the whole team to start with warm-up exercises, passing the ball to get familiar with the field, before moving on to pressing exercises in a narrow space and ending with technical and tactical coordination exercises.

With the home advantage, the Vietnamese women's team is expected to win the highest title of the tournament.
