LG gram AI 2025 launched in Vietnam, equipped with empathetic AI

LG has just officially launched the LG gram AI 2025 laptop generation in Vietnam with the highlight "AI Lai" (Hybrid AI) and a series of empathetic artificial intelligence (AI) features with the ability to process AI tasks right on the device without needing an internet connection.

"Hybrid AI": Offline and Online AI Processing Power

The Hybrid AI concept is the core technology highlight of the LG gram AI 2025 series. This is a combination of offline (on-device) and online (cloud-based) AI processing capabilities to optimize the user experience.

When there is no internet connection, the "gram chat On-Device" feature allows users to perform many important tasks, ensuring privacy and security. Users can ask the device to summarize a long document, restore unsaved versions of work with the "Time Travel" feature, or intelligently search for document files, images, and text with just a keyword, even on mobile devices connected via LG gram Link.

When there is an internet connection, the "gram chat Cloud" feature, powered by OpenAI's GPT-4o model, will take over the processing. This feature acts as a virtual assistant, able to answer specialized questions via Q&A Chatbot, or automatically analyze, translate and summarize (Document AI) complex documents of hundreds of pages. In particular, the Function Calling feature allows users to schedule meetings, compose emails or search for files on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 tools by voice, helping to save time and optimize work performance.

Diverse product range to users

In this launch, LG introduced three main models: LG gram AI, LG gram Pro AI and LG gram Book AI. The LG gram AI series will be LG's main laptop line, balancing design and performance, focusing on maximum mobility for users with a variety of screen sizes from 14 to 17 inches. The Pro version is designed to be the thinnest and most powerful for professionals with an RTX 5050 graphics card option, a high refresh rate screen of 120 Hz for the OLED version or 144 Hz for the LCD version, while the Book series is aimed at young people with the ability to upgrade RAM, SSD and a more affordable price.

Inside, the LG gram AI 2025 is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor with integrated AI, combined with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, providing 14% faster image processing performance and 23% higher video editing than the previous generation. The Mega Dual Cooling Fans dual cooling system and a large 72 Wh battery capacity allow the device to operate continuously for up to 30 hours with optimal performance without overheating.

In addition, LG gram AI is packed in a slim design of only 15.4 mm and weighs only 1,199 g despite having a screen up to 16 inches, along with US military standard durability MIL-STD-810H to help users feel secure in use. The new generation LG gram AI has 2 screen options of IPS or OLED with 2K resolution with a display ratio of 16:10 and a color gamut of up to 100% DCI-P3 and a Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound speaker system for a creative and high-end entertainment experience. The device has an integrated LG gram Link 2.0 feature that allows seamless connection and file sharing between laptops and iOS and Android mobile devices, ensuring maximum continuity in work.

The expected retail price of the LG gram AI Copilot+PC version with Core Ultra 7 configuration, 32GB RAM, 512GB memory and WQXGA+ OLED screen (2,880 x 1,800) is 43.99 million VND. Meanwhile, the LG gram Book AI line is expected to cost around 17 million VND.
