One of the clear marks showing the effectiveness of women's mass mobilization work is social security activities, especially the "Godmother" program launched by the Women's Union at all levels. The program has become a bridge of love, helping many children in difficult circumstances, orphans, lacking both material and spiritual things to be empowered to rise up in life.

Women's Union of Tran Hung Dao 4 area (Hong Gai ward) organized a visit to Pham Nam Anh's family.

Following the staff of the Women's Union of Tran Hung Dao 4 area (Hong Gai ward) to visit the family of Pham Nam Anh (group 6, Tran Hung Dao 4 area), we can see that the spirit of charity is widely spread among women in the area. Nam Anh is the youngest child in a family of 2 sisters. Her father died early, her mother is a freelancer with an unstable income, and she is the only one raising 2 children to study. According to her age, Nam Anh is in grade 5 this year and her sister is in grade 8. However, due to difficult family circumstances and lack of care and education, both sisters started school 1 year later than their peers. However, both sisters always try to excel in their studies and life.

The Women's Union of Tran Hung Dao 4 Area learned about Nam Anh's situation in 2022. After verifying and carefully surveying, the union proposed to include her in the "Godmother" program. Since then, the Women's Union of Tran Hung Dao 4 Area and the Women's Union of Hong Gai Ward have mobilized and maintained support for Nam Anh with 3 million VND/quarter. In addition, on holidays and Tet, the women in the union also regularly visit, encourage and help Nam Anh's family.

It was this caring companionship that helped the two Nam Anh sisters gain more confidence and motivation to overcome difficulties. Not only providing material support, the program also spreads the spirit of humanity, arousing community responsibility in each female member and the whole neighborhood.

If in Tran Hung Dao area, women's union members spread love through the "Godmother" program, then in Bach Dang area (Hong Gai ward), women's union members affirm their pioneering role in ensuring food safety and hygiene. Hong Gai ward has many food businesses, most of which are owned by women. In order to raise awareness of food safety and hygiene, the Women's Union of Bach Dang area regularly visits the establishments to propagate and guide members in safe processing practices, using ingredients of clear origin, and ensuring hygiene in service. Thanks to that, many business households pay more and more attention to maintaining hygiene, from processing to serving. The prestige and trust of customers are raised, contributing to creating stable livelihoods for families.

The common point in the movements of the Women's Union of Hong Gai Ward is that they all originate from real life to spread good values in the community. Behind those results is the dedication and enthusiasm of the union officials. Despite their busy work, the women always spend time on union work with the desire to bring good things.

Women's Association of Bach Dang area (Hong Gai ward) strives to maintain "Green Sunday".

It can be seen that, from simple, small but practical actions, women of Hong Gai ward have been spreading profound human values. The enthusiasm, responsibility and commitment of cadres and members not only create solidarity within women but also arouse the spirit of sharing in the whole society. That is also the way Hong Gai women contribute to building Quang Ninh more and more civilized and modern; at the same time affirming the important role of women in general in the socio-economic development of the locality.
