On the afternoon of October 28, the People's Committee of Muong Te district ( Lai Chau ) held a meeting and dialogue with businesses and cooperatives in 2024.
At the conference, the representative of Muong Te District People's Committee informed that Muong Te currently has 125 companies, enterprises and 52 cooperatives, with a total registered capital of about 6,111 billion VND. Enterprises and cooperatives operate mainly in the fields of industry, construction, trade, services, agriculture, forestry, and transportation. In general, enterprises and cooperatives comply well with the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, fulfill their tax obligations, and ensure benefits for workers.
From the beginning of 2024 to present, enterprises and cooperatives have contributed nearly 49.7 billion VND to the state budget, about 75.9% of the district's budget revenue; creating jobs for over 500 workers, with an average income of about 5.2 million VND/person/month. Many enterprises and cooperatives have actively applied scientific and technological advances in production to increase labor productivity and improve product quality. Participate in programs, projects and projects according to the province's policies, invest in agriculture and rural areas such as: Medicinal plant planting project in Pa Ve Su and Ta Ba communes; investing in small and medium hydropower projects... At the conference, enterprises and cooperatives shared about the difficulties and problems related to investment, production and business activities such as: Conversion of land use purposes, access to loans, site clearance... At the same time, they proposed and recommended to the District People's Committee, relevant levels and sectors to pay attention, consider, create favorable conditions, and have specific policies for enterprises and cooperatives to operate more effectively. Concluding the conference, Mr. Dao Van Khanh - Chairman of Muong Te District People's Committee acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the contributions of enterprises and cooperatives in the past time. According to the Chairman of Muong Te District People's Committee, those contributions have contributed positively to the overall development of the locality. The opinions, recommendations and proposals of enterprises and cooperatives were received, answered, discussed and clarified by the district leaders, specialized departments and divisions for enterprises and cooperatives to understand. The contents under the authority of the central, provincial and district levels will be proposed to higher levels, in the spirit of creating favorable conditions for businesses and cooperatives to operate. From there, promoting the socio -economic development of the district. At the 2024 Meeting and Dialogue with businesses and cooperatives, the Chairman of Muong Te District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 24 collectives and 19 outstanding individuals who have contributed to socio -economic development activities in the area in 2024.
