Groundbreaking ceremony of Waste Transfer Station in Cam Le district

DNO - On January 24, the Management Board of Danang Urban Development and Infrastructure Investment Projects said that the construction and equipment supply and installation package of the Cam Le Waste Transfer Station project (Hoa Xuan ward, Cam Le district) was just started on January 21, 2025 by the consortium of SEEN Engineering Joint Stock Company and Saigon Transport Mechanical Engineering Corporation with a winning bid price of over 117.7 billion VND.

The Cam Le Waste Transfer Station project has a waste transfer capacity of 200 tons/day, including 2 waste compactors; 4 hooklift trucks transporting large waste containers, 11 large waste containers; automatic car wash system, drainage ditch cleaning and factory cleaning system; odor and exhaust gas treatment system; vehicle weight weighing system; bulky waste treatment system...

In addition, the waste treatment plant also has a spare location to install a third waste compactor to increase waste compacting capacity in the future.

The investment in the Cam Le Regional Waste Transfer Station aims to serve the collection and transfer of waste for Cam Le district and neighboring areas, creating an effective waste transfer solution to synchronize and complete the waste collection network in the city; solving the problem of environmental sanitation and landscape in the area; in line with the orientation of completing infrastructure and mechanization of waste collection in the city.

The construction and equipment supply and installation package of the Cam Le Waste Transfer Station project will be completed after 8 months (240 days) from January 21, 2025.
