Khanh Hoa signs comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietnam Airlines for the period 2026 - 2030

Recently, within the framework of the 2025 Business and Investor Meeting, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive Cooperation for the period 2026 - 2030 to strengthen coordination in tourism and aviation development and investment and trade promotion. Attending the signing ceremony were: Nguyen Chi Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Dang Ngoc Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines.

According to the agreement, Vietnam Airlines will promote Khanh Hoa's image on its media ecosystem such as Heritage Magazine, in-flight videos , entertainment screens, Lotus lounge and international representative channels; accompany the province in communications work, take on the role of official carrier at major events hosted by the locality. The airline will also coordinate with the province to organize famtrips, presstrips, and national-scale tourism-aviation events every two years; implement preferential ticket price policies and support transportation for local delegations; integrate the province's tourism products and services into the ecosystem serving domestic and international passengers...

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the Provincial People's Committee also signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Airlines and achieved many positive results. Despite facing many fluctuations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam Airlines still plays a role in accompanying the province in tourism promotion, connecting international markets and promoting the local image on the airline's media channels. The opening of the Nha Trang - Busan international route in 2025 is a clear demonstration of the efforts to connect and restore tourism in the South Central region in general and Khanh Hoa in particular in Vietnam Airlines' strategic flight network.
