Urgently carry out tasks of protecting, preserving and restoring aquatic resources and marine ecosystems in Khanh Hoa province.

Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Document No. 714 on the implementation of protection, conservation and restoration of aquatic resources and marine ecosystems in Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, the Nha Trang Bay Management Board is requested to review, advise and urge relevant units to implement the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 3028 dated November 7, 2022 on promulgating the Master Plan for Restoration of Nha Trang Bay to 2030; urgently coordinate with the Department of Fisheries and Sea Islands and relevant units to complete task No. 4 "Survey of functional zoning of Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area" in the Master Plan for Restoration of Nha Trang Bay to 2030, to serve as a basis for establishing Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area in accordance with regulations. At the same time, implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 5256 dated April 29, 2025 on not allowing the re-organization of glass-bottom boat tours in the waters of Hon Mun Island; strengthen inspection, closely coordinate with the Department of Fisheries and Sea Islands to prevent and handle violations in the Hon Mun sea area.

Request the Department of Fisheries and Seas to urgently coordinate with relevant units to advise on the implementation of the tasks of "Establishing Nha Trang Bay Marine Reserve", "Establishing Nui Chua Marine Reserve" and conservation areas, aquatic resource protection areas... approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 389 dated May 9, 2024 on the Planning for protection and exploitation of aquatic resources for the period 2021 - 2030; direct the fisheries control force to increase patrols, inspections, prevent and strictly handle violations in the field of conservation and development of aquatic resources.
