The official opening of Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area adds a new destination, opens up many unique and attractive tourism products. This is a motivating event, a premise to help the Western region transform strongly and is a "magnet" attracting visitors to the mountainous region of Quang Nam.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group (project investor), with persistent efforts after nearly 2 years of operating and welcoming guests in phase 1, the tourist area has welcomed more than 120,000 visitors and guests.
"In addition, Dong Giang Heaven Gate has also deployed many tourism product packages with continuous programs such as "Spring Festival", "Dance of the Great Forest" program... to contribute to diversifying services, helping visitors have many experiences about nature and indigenous culture at the tourist area.
With the goal of building a core force to create jobs, contribute to poverty reduction, and develop the local economy, from the time of construction to operation, the project has recruited nearly 1,000 workers who are local Co Tu people," said Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu acknowledged and highly appreciated the determination and determination of FVG Group to complete and put the project into operation despite many difficulties and challenges due to natural disasters, epidemics, limited infrastructure conditions, etc.
"I hope that Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area will not only be an attractive destination for relaxation and exploration of natural beauty but also a model in promoting eco-tourism, respecting the natural beauty, biodiversity of the area and preserving the environment for sustainable development," said Mr. Ho Quang Buu.
“In the second quarter of 2024, Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area is expected to officially put into operation the cable car section - this is the first cable car line in Quang Nam with a cable length of 1,601m, the difference in height compared to sea level is 800m. The highlight of this project is the design using decorative motifs in the traditional culture of the Co Tu people.
Along with many entertainment and recreation items completed in phase 2 of the tourist area, it will help tourists diversify their experiences on their journey, aiming to realize the goal of welcoming more than 100,000 visitors/year.
