The program was attended by comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly , and many central and local delegates.
The event was hosted by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a number of relevant agencies at the central and local levels.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the National Finals, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Disabled and Orphans Nguyen Trong Dam, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said that the Association has coordinated with the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the National "Singing Contest for the Disabled" every 5 years. Up to now, the Association has successfully organized 2 contests, the first in 2014, the second in 2019.

The contest is a place for many disabled people to show off their talents, affirming a philosophy: Disabled people can do everything like normal people if they have the support and conditions of the State and the community. The contest is truly a useful playground, where they can meet, exchange and share with people in the same situation, inspire each other, and give each other confidence to continue to overcome difficulties, assert themselves and integrate into the community.

The 3rd Singing Contest for People with Disabilities in 2025 will be held at the provincial, regional and national levels. Many provincial and municipal Associations have actively prepared, organized preliminary rounds, selected performances, and enthusiastically practiced to participate in regional competitions in the three regions of the North, Central and South.
The final round was held in Hanoi from June 15 to 16, with the participation of male and female disabled contestants from 13 provinces and cities, who were the teams that won first, second and third prizes and gold medals in the three regional competitions.
