The event was hosted by the Vietnam Advertising Association and the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); organized by Dong Nam Advertising and Trade Promotion Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association.
Attending the event were Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee; Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association and many delegates representing domestic and foreign units and enterprises.
In her welcoming speech, Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, emphasized: “In the continuous development of the country, Vietnam's cultural industries are gradually growing strongly, becoming a new pillar of the economy .
Not only contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, the cultural industry is also a land rich in potential for innovation, technology and international integration.
She said that the Prime Minister's issuance of Directive No. 30 dated August 29, 2024 on the development of Vietnam's cultural industries is an important milestone, demonstrating a strategic vision in building a modern cultural industry ecosystem, applying technology, promoting digital transformation and innovation.
In that general picture, the advertising industry is emerging as a key creative industry, not only playing a role in communication and marketing but also a channel to spread the image, identity and aspirations of Vietnam to the world .
“Vietnam Advertising and Entertainment Week 2025 is a special event, not only part of the series of activities to implement the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030, but also an opportunity for businesses, experts, and creators to connect, share, and promote the advertising industry in a professional, modern, digital, and integrated direction,” emphasized Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong.
Taking place from July 22 to 26 in Ho Chi Minh City, the program gathered nearly 300 delegates who are leaders of ministries, branches, localities, associations, experts, businesses, training schools, and domestic and foreign media agencies.

The week contributes to connecting trade, introducing new technology and creating a forum for businesses operating in the fields of advertising, media and entertainment.
Within the framework of the event, from July 24-26, the 15th Vietnam International Advertising Equipment and Technology Exhibition - VietAd 2025 and the Vietnam International Smart Display and Integrated Systems Exhibition - Vietnam Smart Display 2025 will take place.
This is a large-scale and specialized annual event in Vietnam, gathering a series of modern products and technologies such as digital printers, laser cutters, heat presses, LED screens, lighting equipment, printing materials, advertising gifts, luminescent letters, electric paintings, advertising construction materials...
VietAd is the only specialized exhibition of advertising equipment and technology in Vietnam recognized by the Universal Exhibition Association (UFI) as an international standard exhibition.

At the same time, on July 22-23, the Vietnam Ad & Fun Week 2025 Sports Festival with 3 sports (soccer, tennis, pickleball) was also held enthusiastically, attracting the participation of many advertising businesses across the country.
On July 25, at the main stage of the event, a seminar on “Optimizing cash flow from advertising for chain stores” was held, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Outdoor Advertising Club. The seminar updated outdoor advertising trends and created opportunities for connecting advertising businesses with retail systems.
On the morning of July 26, the 2025 Job Fair will take place, focusing on the fields of advertising, media, and cultural industries. Here, young candidates will have the opportunity to directly interact with employers and attend the seminar "Job opportunities in the Media - Advertising industry".
In addition, the Week also has a cultural and culinary space called “Cultural and Entertainment Festival 2025”, serving visitors and businesses, contributing to spreading the diverse colors of Vietnam's creative industry.
With nearly 350 booths, gathering more than 500 brands from 10 countries, the Organizing Committee expects the Week to welcome about 15,000 visitors, expanding cooperation and development opportunities for the business community and young talents in the fields of advertising, communications, cultural industry and technology.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association, said: Over the past 30 years, the Vietnamese advertising industry has developed strongly, from a young field, mainly relying on traditional media, to now becoming an indispensable part of the business strategies of domestic and foreign enterprises.
According to Mr. Son, development is not only reflected in the rapid increase in the number of businesses but also in the transformation in service quality and the ability to apply modern technology.
The Vietnamese advertising industry has quickly approached global trends such as digital advertising, social networks, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data, creating a dynamic, creative, and effective advertising ecosystem.
“We believe that the advertising industry will continue to play an important role in the country's economic development, as technology, the business environment and consumer habits are changing every day,” Mr. Son emphasized.
Vietnam Advertising and Entertainment Week 2025 is a typical event in the series of activities implementing the Strategy for developing Vietnam's cultural industries.
This is not only an occasion to honor achievements in the advertising industry but also an opportunity for the business community to explore new trends, update advanced technology and connect with leading domestic and international experts.
