Arouse financial thinking, nurture the spirit of independence
The shift to the digital economy is setting new standards of competence for the younger generation, in which personal financial management skills are becoming one of the core elements. Equipping students with financial thinking early is considered the foundation to help them be more proactive in planning their future.
On that basis, the preferential tuition loan program jointly implemented by ACB and VNU-HCMC is not simply to support study costs, but also to create conditions for students to gradually practice planning skills, allocate resources and responsibly manage their personal finances right from when they are still in school.
Expected to be implemented from the 2025-2026 school year with a total limit of up to 50 billion VND, the program has many outstanding advantages such as: unsecured loans, preferential interest rates, long loan terms. The scope of support is not only limited to students in difficult circumstances but also extends to young people who want to practice their independence and basic financial foundation right from the classroom.

Mr. Tran Hung Huy, Chairman of ACB Board of Directors, shared: “For ACB, education is always a strategic priority in the journey of pursuing ESG. This tuition loan package not only supports study costs, but also contributes to the formation of financial thinking, independence and responsibility - essential provisions in today's era”.
On this cooperation platform, the two sides aim to create a comprehensive school financial ecosystem, where students not only have access to suitable financial tools but are also equipped with thinking and application skills, gradually developing independent thinking, resource management ability and being proactive in planning for the future.
Accompanying young people does not stop at the classroom, ACB continues to expand smart financial solutions to support the journey of starting a business and settling down. Recently, ACB has launched the “First Home” loan package for young people.
Persistent with the mission of developing sustainable education
Over the years, ACB has accompanied a number of scholarship funds of associations, agencies, and schools to support studious students with difficult circumstances across the country, such as the “Journey I Love Life” or the environmental protection program “Closer to O”.
For three consecutive years (2022-2024), ACB has spent a total of VND6.79 billion on educational support activities, focusing on disadvantaged students in many localities across the country. The bank has awarded 2,972 scholarships, 2,576 backpacks, 27,600 notebooks and 336 warm coats, helping thousands of children in many provinces and cities across the country go to school.
In April, ACB launched a program to educate and classify waste at source at more than 120 schools in Ho Chi Minh City, donating 1,600 waste bins with the aim of building a green lifestyle for students.
As a pioneer bank pursuing ESG values, ACB considers education not only a priority area but also an important foundation in human development strategy, the focus of the S (Social) factor.
