Opening of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

On the morning of August 28, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune ( Hanoi City), the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

Attending the opening ceremony were General Secretary To Lam, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front; members of the Party Central Committee and about 6,000 delegates who are leaders of departments, ministries, branches, provinces and centrally-run cities; embassies and intergovernmental organizations with representative offices in Vietnam; people and visitors.

Leaders of Vinh Long province attended the opening ceremony, including comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Long province attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The exhibition with the theme: "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" introduces and displays the country's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially key areas such as: industry, technology, investment, trade, agriculture, rural areas, security, defense, foreign affairs, health, education, culture, sports and tourism.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

At the same time, introduce Vietnamese culture - Country - People with 4,000 years of cultural tradition; the rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works of the past and present across the country.

Vinh Long province participated in the exhibition with the theme "Vinh Long - Crystallizing the past - Creating the future". The exhibition space of the province is arranged with an area of ​​over 500m2. The main idea is the journey through the history of land exploration, revolutionary struggle tradition, innovation achievements to the vision of future development of Vinh Long province after merger and consolidation. The exhibition space is designed in a modern, open, airy style, harmoniously combining traditional displays (artifacts, images, documents) and displays applying digital technology 4.0.

The exhibition focuses on 3 groups: Historical origins: Land and people of Vinh Long before 1945; Vinh Long during the resistance war and development period (1945 - 2025); Vinh Long's bright future - new space, new era, new position, new height (2025 - 2045).
