The opening ceremony featured art performances, DJ performances, fire circus, band performances, and many sea sports games, kite flying activities... attracting a large number of locals and tourists.
According to the leader of Hoi An City People's Committee, the "Hoi An - Summer Emotions 2024" Sea Festival will have a series of activities responding to the National Biodiversity Recovery Year 2024 and meeting the entertainment, recreation and relaxation needs of people and tourists during the summer.
The Festival will contribute to conveying the beautiful images of the beaches in the city, thereby gradually restoring the Hoi An beach tourism brand, spreading it to match the beauty of the beach that was once voted one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia (An Bang beach).
The festival lasts until the end of July 2024 with many special activities such as: yoga exchange on the sea, kite flying festival, "Endless Summer" event, music - cuisine - sports space, coral summer camp, "Cu Lao Cham - Red parasol flower season" festival.
At the opening ceremony, in response to the National Biodiversity Recovery Year 2024, the People's Committee of Cua Dai Ward and Cua Dai Border Guard Station presented a commitment to collect ocean waste, protect the clean and beautiful sea of Hoi An, making it an ideal tourist and resort destination for people and tourists; and at the same time presented gifts to disadvantaged fishing households.
