On the night of August 30 (Vietnam time), Chelsea suddenly informed Bayern Munich that the team refused to let Jackson undergo a medical in Germany. The 24-year-old striker was asked to return to London after flying to Munich to complete a loan deal worth £13 million.
The decision was made after striker Liam Delap suffered a serious hamstring injury in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Fulham in the third round of the Premier League on August 30. Coach Enzo Maresca said Delap could be out for "six to eight weeks".
According to the BBC , Jackson is furious that the deal fell through at the last minute. Jackson's agent, Diomansy Kamara, commented on social media with the words: "We will not return. The plane cannot return."

When asked about the possibility of Jackson's deal being canceled, coach Enzo Maresca said: "I just finished the match, I'm here (in the press room) and I don't know what the situation is. We'll sit down and see. Honestly, I don't know."
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl told Sky Sports : "Chelsea informed us that they want Jackson back even though the team reached an agreement yesterday. The current situation is that he is in Munich and we have to send Jackson back. That's the current situation, but I don't know what the future holds."
In theory, Jackson will still wear a Chelsea shirt when the team travels to Bayern's Allianz Arena on September 17 in the Champions League qualifying round.
