According to PhoneArena , microLED is a display technology that allows for higher brightness, reduced power consumption, improved contrast ratios, and other benefits over current iPhones, which have OLED displays. The report says that the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be the first Apple device to switch to microLED, followed by the iPhone and iPad.

The report reads: "Starting with the Apple Watch, Apple plans to introduce more microLED displays for iPhones and iPads. Some industry sources say the Apple Watch Ultra will no longer use the current OLED display by late 2024 or 2025 as it will be replaced by Apple's own microLED display.
With the Apple Watch Ultra 2 not expected to use microLED until late 2024 or 2025, the first iPhone to use the technology may still be a few years away. All four iPhone 15 models launching later this year are expected to use OLED displays.
Meanwhile, Apple is still completing the transition to OLED displays. Apple's first device with an OLED display was the first-generation Apple Watch, followed by the iPhone X. The company has also brought OLED displays to iPad models, while the first Mac with an OLED display is expected to launch next year. The transition to microLED will likely follow a similar smaller-to-larger device trajectory.
